Amber and Jordan
As a wedding invitation designer, I'm passionate about creating wedding invitations that are as unique as your love story. I offer personalized in-person design sessions to get to know you and your vision, resulting in truly bespoke stationery that wows your guests- just like these Halloween wedding invitations did for Amber and Jordan's guests.
Amber and Jordan had a clear vision for their Halloween wedding invitations: gothic vibes, Victorian scroll details, spider webs, and a blood-red palette. Their inspiration was as dark and enchanting as the holiday itself.
Our design session was a spark-filled exchange of ideas. One moment, Jordan suggested burning the paper for a truly unique touch—a bold concept that quickly ignited my creativity. The result? Aged and worn enclosure cards that perfectly captured the Victorian flair for their spooky celebration.
From intricate details to unexpected elements, these invitations set the "Stage" for a truly unforgettable Halloween wedding on October 31, 2023. Below, I've highlighted some of my favorite design elements and included a gallery showcasing the magic we created together.
There are so many amazing and thoughtful details that went into this invitation suite that the only way to explain it for my brain is to list it out.
1) Invitation card is black handmade paper, gold foil, with vampire skull scrolls.
2) Details card and website cards are ivory handmade paper with letterpress, venue illustration, burned edges and a bloody wax seal featuring the couples monogram.
3) The box to mail the invitations in was a black smooth magnetic box with a velvet pocket to hold the details card and website card.
4) Inside laid freeze dried rose petals and a skeleton hand holding the wrapped scroll
