Collaboration is the heart of our process. The in-person (or virtual) design session is your chance to participate in the artistic journey, ensuring every detail is custom to you and sets the perfect tone for your wedding day.

At local coffee shop or your wedding venue, we'll take the time to truly get to know you as a couple. We'll delve into your love story, explore your shared hobbies, and discover the essence of your wedding aesthetic.

Imagine this: you tell us about your love for gardening, the shared passion that led to your dream garden wedding. Inspired by your story, we might brainstorm a stunning gatefold invitation, its edges adorned with delicate florals and blooms.

After discussing ideas, we'll explore beautiful paper options, an array of color swatches, and a curated selection of embellishments, crafting your perfect custom invitation suite together.

The Consultation

Fill out the form on our contact tab to schedule your consultation. Here, we'll delve into your initial ideas and wedding vision. During the call, I'll whip up a personalized quote just for you! Once you're happy and ready to move forward, a 33% deposit secures your spot on our calendar.

Design Session (in-person or virtual)

We'll dive deep into your love story and wedding vision all while exploring samples of invitations, color swatches, printing methods and embellishments such as wax seals, envelope liners and ribbon.  Imagine a whimsical boat die-cut invitation hinting at your Italian getaway, or watercolor florals echoing the theme of your garden wedding. The possibilities are endless, and the magic happens when we co-create together!

life-like proofs

We'll provide online access to life-like proofs of your entire suite, allowing you to meticulously review each piece. This real life-like approach ensures your invitations are perfect, down to the very last detail. Revisions are always welcome, and we'll work closely with you to incorporate any changes seamlessly. Please note, turnaround times for revisions can vary from 3-6 weeks.

Assembly and Delivery

Once your final proof is confirmed, we'll hand-assemble each invitation, incorporating the embellishments you've chosen. Every detail will be a reflection of your unique love story. Once complete, your beautifully crafted invitations will be carefully packaged and shipped directly to you or available for local pick up. Mailing services now available.

Pricing

The cost of your custom wedding invitations varies depending on the specific elements you choose. This includes the luxurious papers, stunning printing techniques, and exquisite embellishments that bring your vision to life. We offer a la carte pricing structure, allowing you to select the features that best suit your needs and budget. Most couples typically invest between $35 and $60 per household/suite.

Questions

HOW MANY WEDDING INVITATIONS SHOULD I ORDER?

Your invitation quantity is based on your number of guest households, not your guest count. The only exception is if multiple families live together in the same household or a family has a child over 18 in the same house, then they each receive their own wedding invitation. Usually if your guest count is 100, you'll have somewhere between 45-60 households

HOW MUCH DO CUSTOM INVITATIONS COST?

Most of couples spend $35-$60 per household. So for a client that has 100 guests, 60 households and wants an envelope liner and wax seal, they may spend around $2,800 on their custom wedding stationery. This can vary depending on the print method with flat digital printing being most cost effective and letterpress, foil and embossing increasing the price

WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK OUR WEDDING DATE FOR CUSTOM STATIONERY?

To provide the highest level of quality and personalized attention, I limit the number of custom clients per wedding month to just three weddings. Bookings should be made 8-12 months in advance to ensure sufficient time for the design and production process. DO WE ACTUALLY WORK ONE-ON-ONE IN PERSON?


Yes! Working together in person allows us to connect and review your vision. I get to know your love story and can incorporate that into your design. We also go through samples and build your design from scratch. Plus in person cuts down on the proofing rounds and it's a fun appointment! Like the cake tasting appointment.

WHEN SHOULD INVITATIONS BE MAILED OUT?


Wedding invitations should be in the mail and sent to your guests 10-12 weeks prior to your wedding date. If your wedding is a destination, 12-14 weeks is ideal. However we need longer than this for designing, proofing, and assembly. To get started on custom stationery, ideally booking your wedding date with me 8-12 months in advance is best so that your date is saved as I only take on 3 clients per wedding month. 

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?


For clients booking more than 6 months from their wedding date, you have three payments: 33% at signing, 33% when we begin designing and the remaining balance when your final proof is approved. Clients booking under 6 months, will have two payments. 33% at signing and the remaining upon final proof. Credit cards will have a 3% surcharge for each transaction. Zelle, cash and checks are also accepted with no fees.

WHAT DAY OF WEDDING STATIONERY DO YOU OFFER?


Just about everything paper! All of your day-of wedding items will be cohesive in color, fonts and shapes to your invitations. I offer seating charts, welcome signs, bar signs, place cards, menus, thank you cards, ceremony programs, table numbers, etc. You can view more here.

WHEN DO WE START DESIGNING?


Once your deposit is paid, we will schedule your in-person design session. The design session is typically scheduled 6-8 months prior to your wedding date. 

What if we don't live in arizona?

Out of state couples receive a virtual design session with curated samples  and swatches mailed to them.
